Thank You Great Lakes Honda!

Marie & Area; and Sean Bishop, Assistant Manager at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore

A snowblower can be a very handy and time efficient tool especially in Northern Ontario! The limited staff and volunteers at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore have been using a snow blower with a broken directional spout and limited snow-throwing ability, which impacts their valuable time.

With their snowblower on its last legs, the Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie & Area ReStore crossed their fingers and reached out to Great Lakes Honda with a donation request for a new snowblower.

Great Lakes Honda was more than willing to help out the ReStore and donated a powerful and dependable blower! With a functional snowblower, staff and volunteers can now focus their valuable time towards Habitat’s mission of raising money for their Affordable Homeownership Program instead of shoveling their way into the ReStore.

As a non-profit, HFHSSMA relies on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors to achieve its mission. Every volunteer and donation helps a family build a decent and affordable home in our community. If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please visit our website at www.habitatsault.ca for more information.
