Donate
Thank you for considering a donation of your materials to ReStore. We currently accept new and gently used donations of building materials, appliances, collectibles, antiques, artwork and much, much more.
Donation drop-offs are currently accepted from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Donation pick-ups are by appointment only and can be booked online or by phone.
By donating, you’ll get the satisfaction of knowing your donations helped support local families - and didn’t end up in the landfill.
For businesses, donating to the ReStore is a great way to move discontinued or excess stock, deal with gently used returns, and show your customers that you care about the environment and your community.
We greatly appreciate your generosity and goodwill. We could not exist without you.
Two Easy Ways to Donate
• Call us so we can discuss your donation
• Drop off your items at the back of our building on 44 Great Northern Road during open hours
Please review the list below prior to scheduling a pick-up or dropping off at the Donation Centre. Please clearly label your donation with "HFH". Please phone the ReStore to discuss your pick-up.
We are currently experiencing a high volume of donation pickup requests. There may be up to a 3-week wait for your pickup. A staff member will be in contact to advise on a timeline for your pickup request. Thank you again for your donation and for supporting Habitat for Humanity!

Donors
By donating new or gently used building materials, furniture, and appliances, you can help improve our community. When you donate items to a ReStore, you may be eligible to receive a tax receipt for the value of the item(s).
Families
Revenue generated from the sale of products at the ReStore covers operational expenses of HFHSSMA. Any funds over and above operational expenses are put towards our mission of building affordable housing in Sault Ste. Marie and area. That means every dollar raised goes directly into building homes and strengthening communities.
Environment
Whether you buy or donate materials, you are helping to reduce the number of usable building materials being deposited into a landfill. For every $1 of product sold at a ReStore, approximately 1.3lbs of waste is diverted from local landfills
Community
Our mission is to build homes in partnership with hardworking, low-income families in Sault Ste Marie. We build social capital through skill development, networking, and mentoring opportunities.
