Auralee became Habitat's second homeowner in 2006.

"We are very excited about starting a new life in our new home," Vezina said. "It wouldn't have happened without the community helping out."

Vezina's children were just as excited as she was about the new home. Her son had already called for a room in the basement before Habitat had even broken ground!

"I can't believe my family is going to have a home. It's hard to believe," Vezina said.
